An excellent host. Everything about this place is fantastic. Comfortable well furnished rooms, with attention to detail with regards to decor toiletries etc First class breakfast, too. We've stayed here on three occasions.

5* hotel-style accommodation and breakfast, the best we’ve ever experienced in the UK - including 5* hotels! Amazed to find this in a B&B!

A wonderful one night stay here. Located by the beautiful village of Lympstone. Den was the perfect host, calling the day before to discuss our arrival time. He was so helpful with any questions and were given a lovely coffee when we arrived and sat in the lounge with him for a quick chat before we headed out. The attention to detail in the house was incredible. Spacious rooms and super comfortable bed. The breakfast was made to order and the food was top quality and tasted delicious. Highly recommend this little gem. A personal service that seems very difficult to find these days

Immaculate accommodation with thoughtful touches. Delicious breakfast made with care. Den’s attentive but discreet service allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. This is a B&B but came across as a high standard hotel. Perfectly situated in East Devon.

This was a lovely place to stay on our overnight stop travelling home from Cornwall and visiting family in Devon. Although it was only a one night stay Den made it a special visit. Our room was spacious and wonderfully clean, and included a seating area that is always a nice extra. Breakfast was cooked to order by Den and was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Hopefully we will be able to stay again the future. Thanks Den.

Stayed here for one night recently whilst on a short trip to Exmouth. I must say this is a first class B&B. From start to finish you are made to feel so welcome by the owner who is an excellent host. On arrival we were shown to our room which was on the first floor. The room was large and extremely well equipped. A very comfortable bed with high quality bedding. This was followed by a cup of tea and a piece of lemon drizzle cake served in the lounge to welcome you fully. The owner advised us of some local recommended restaurants to try which was very useful. After a very good nights sleep we were served a delicious breakfast made fresh to order in the garden room. It was a real shame that it was only a one night stay. This is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed in and is great value for money.

A great stay. A lovely decor throughout the house, including the bedroom which was very spacious. Nice to have a sofa in the bedroom. Everything was exceptionally clean, helped by guests leaving their shoes in the entrance hall. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast served to order, was well cooked. Generous portions. Good coffee. Communal breakfast table.

Fabulous B&B with a friendly and accommodating host. Both communal areas, bedroom and bathroom were very tastefully decorated and the bed exceptionally large and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, made from quality ingredients. The communal garden and conservatory areas were perfect places in which to relax. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

From the moment we drove up and Den was waiting to help us with our luggage we knew this was going to be the place to stay. Our room was spacious, well appointed, clean and nicely decorated with a comfortable sofa and beds. A delicious slice of cake and drinks were on offer after settling into our room. The breakfast was delicious and Den was always helpful and hospitable. We liked sharing the communal table with other guests at breakfast, meeting people from other places is one of the pleasures of going away for us. Overall a great experience!

We travel a lot and when in the UK we stay in B and B and we have tried many. From the moment we walked in I just knew this was going to be different. The décor is stunning and the room and bathroom were exceptionally well equipped. This place is run by the man who has thought of everything, absolutely everything. The place is spotless and the full English breakfast we chose was exceptional. Local produce and superbly cooked and presented. Den was a delightful chap and he clearly enjoys making guests feel special. We will be back.
